Wed, January 10, 2007 - 10:30 AMIt was a fun event. Not much of a crowd, but that's to be expected on an event during a late Monday afternoon. The Urthel IPA (Hop It) is delicious. It won't take the place of Racer X or Green Flash, but it's good for what it is. -

Blind Pig? I think I've "outgrown" it... Just doesn't do it for me. I respect anything by Russian River, but it's just not my idea of a great IPA. -

Thu, January 11, 2007 - 11:33 AMDitto on Blind Pig. The first time I tasted it, I was astounded that Vinnie would even make it available for sale, given that all of his other IPAs are vastly superior.
To me Blind Pig is very one-dimensional and tastes like a textbook example of a Bad IPA.
